First Friday Reception: August 7, 6-10pm The Exhibit: Given the long history of artists who have created work about nature and their environment, Navigating the Natural seeks to highlight how artists are finding new ways to respond to nature today. The 29 pieces exhibited in Navigating the Natural as well as a juror spotlight exhibition of Nicole Pietrantoni’s work shows how artists critically reflect humans’ changing relationship to an ecologically complex and increasingly fragile world.
