Borders and boundaries define a frame around an area, a geographic space or idea. This series of woodcut prints focus on confronting the borders and boundaries of both physical and existential delineation, further examining those places along the margins of society and our psyche. These images explore the psychological thresholds and the edge of conscious thought in relation to space, in relation to our movement through the landscape. The final mechanically reproduced prints suggest the potential transformation and fragility of self-proclaimed borders, boundaries, and edges.
