Chris Atkins is the Coordinator of the Minnesota Artists Exhibition Program at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. He received a B.A. in the History of Art at the College of Wooster; an M.A. in 20th Century Art at Goldsmiths College, University of London; and an MRes in Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths College, University of London. He has been Deputy Director of Franklin Art Works, a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Art Department at Macalester College, an Adjunct Lecturer in the Liberal Arts Department at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design and a Researcher in the Department of Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths College. His specialties are Minnesota artists, contemporary art and visual culture.
