Drawing Discourse: Exhibition of Contemporary Drawing

I'm please to announce that two of my seismic drawings were selected for an upcoming contemporary drawing exhibition. As part of an ongoing commitment to promote drawing practices in the visual arts, the Department of Art at UNC Asheville has been hosting an international juried exhibition of contemporary drawing. UNC Asheville seeks to examine drawing as it is practiced and defined by today’s artists. This exhibition demonstrates the continued significance of drawing through both conventional and innovative methods. The work will be exhibited in UNC Asheville’s S. Tucker Cooke Gallery from January 16, 2015 through March 1, 2015. Esteemed juror, Val Britton, will be present and open the exhibition with a lecture about her practice on January 16, 2015; the opening reception immediately follows her lecture.
